The Vision: A New Approach to Mother’s Day Gifting

When designing this collection, we set out to move away from the traditional pinks and florals often associated with Mother’s Day. We wanted something that felt elegant, timeless, and versatile, perfect for any home, whether it’s a coastal retreat, a cozy countryside haven, or a contemporary urban space.

In our search for the perfect colourway, we discovered a stunning decorative gift wrap that inspired the collection’s design. The sophisticated hues, matched to PMS 5595, and delicate foil detailing felt like the perfect fit—modern, luxurious, and a seamless addition to our Apotheca Collection.

The Creative Process: Perfecting Every Detail

Creating the perfect collection isn’t always a straight path. Our initial designs leaned towards more autumnal floral elements, but after reviewing and reflecting, we realized that a more minimal, bespoke approach was the right direction. Our goal was clear:

The Art of Packaging: Luxury Meets Versatility

Once we had the colour palette in place, Jodie brought the design to life. She hand-drew 10 intricate patterns, each more stunning than the last. When we saw the winning design, we knew instantly, it had the perfect balance of elegance and modernity. The final design reflects the essence of Apotheca: timeless sophistication with an artisanal touch.
 

Perfecting the Burn: The Final Stage

No collection is complete without rigorous product testing. Our candles go through extensive wick and fragrance load testing to ensure a clean, even burn that delivers the rich, lingering scent experience you’ve come to love from Urban Rituelle. Every candle is a testament to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
