A Candle For Hope: Supporting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) Research
Some things in business feel important.
Others feel deeply personal.
This is one of those moments.
I met Nicolle through our children’s school, where our families quickly formed a close connection. Over time, that connection grew into something much more meaningful.
Nicolle shared with me how much Zoie loved our candles, particularly the Pineapple & Coconut fragrance, a scent that reminded her of Hawaii, her favourite place in the world, filled with sunshine, warmth and a sense of escape.
A Life of Courage and Purpose
Zoie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia at just 17 years old. Over the next five years, she endured relentless treatment, multiple relapses and groundbreaking therapies, all with extraordinary strength.
While fighting for her own life, Zoie became an ambassador for charities supporting young people with blood cancer. She was determined that her journey would help create better outcomes for others.
She passed away in February 2022 at just 22 years old.
The name Zoie means “life” in Greek, and this candle is a tribute to hers.
A Candle That Carries Her Legacy
During her treatment, Zoie found comfort in the simple ritual of lighting a candle, escaping to her favourite place in her mind, Hawaii, with its swaying palms and the scent of pineapple and coconut in the air.
When Nicolle asked if we could create candles for Zoie’s Celebration of Life, it was something we felt truly honoured to be part of.
The Pineapple & Coconut fragrance was one of Zoie’s favourites from our collection, and it felt perfect that it became the candle for her Celebration of Life, allowing those closest to her to remember Zoie in the place she loved most.
That candle stayed with me.
Because it was more than a product.
It had meaning. It had purpose.

The Zoie Moore Research Foundation was created by those who loved her most. It continues her mission: to help fund research so that no young person has to face ALL without real hope for a cure.

With every candle purchased, 100% of profits from this candle are donated to fund vital research that champions targeted, less toxic treatment options for adolescents and young adults diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL).
